How to Make a Resume Attractive

An attractive resume is defined as a resume that always goes beyond the basic information and attracts the recruiter’s attention. Below I am mentioning some tips to make your resume stand out and be an attractive one.
- Tailor Your Resume: Every job requirement is always different so try to customize your resume as per the job description before applying which makes your resume seem a perfect fit.
- Highlight Key Skills: Mention the hard and soft skills as per the requirement of the job description and always use action verbs like “developed”, ” organized’, “achieved”, etc
- Use a Clean Design: Always keep your resume neat and clean and don’t use designing elements or any abstract to make your resume beautiful. Using useless elements causes difficulties for the ATS (Application Tracking System) to detect your information and filter it as per the needs of the organization.
- Include Quantifiable Achievements: Always mention measurable outcomes. e.g. “Led a team project that improved efficiency by 35%.”
- Incorporate Keywords: Read the job description and include relevant keywords. This might include specific skills, certification, or any language or software proficiency.
What is ATS?

Application Tracking System (ATS) is software that helps organizations in the recruitment process. This software automatically early stages of hiring and makes it easy for recruiters to manage the large volume of candidates’ data, and maintain a structured recruitment pipeline.
An Application tracking system acts as a database as well where the candidate’s information is stored and analyzed.
